Starting from Piedmontese traditions, here’s a list of the dishes that define this region! A wide variety offering plenty of choices to suit your tastes, which you can find at all the recommended places below.😊
- Speaking of pasta, a classic dish from the Langhe is tajarin, thin egg noodles served with simple yet flavorful sauces, such as butter and sage or meat sauces. Equally famous are agnolotti del plin, small ravioli filled with meat or vegetables, whose name comes from the pinch ("plin" in Piedmontese) used to close them. They are often served with a roast sauce or melted butter.
- Among the main courses, carne cruda all'Albese is an excellent choice. It consists of thin slices of raw veal, seasoned with extra virgin olive oil, lemon, salt, and pepper, often enriched with shavings of white truffle or Parmigiano Reggiano. Another iconic dish is brasato al Barolo, a rich beef stew slowly cooked in the famous Barolo wine, along with vegetables and spices, creating a very aromatic and flavorful dish.
- Piedmont is also famous for its cheeses, and in the Langhe, there are plenty of opportunities to taste specialties like Robiola di Roccaverano, a fresh goat cheese, and Castelmagno, a hard cheese with blue-veined notes, perfect to pair with honey or pears or eat with famous Gnocchi (a type of pasta).
- To conclude, the cuisine of the Langhe offers delicious desserts, such as torta di nocciole, made with the renowned IGP hazelnuts from Piedmont, and bunet, a chocolate and amaretti pudding enriched with a touch of liqueur.
- And, of course, every meal in the Langhe is accompanied by the region’s famous wines, including Barolo, Barbaresco, and Dolcetto and many others!

Personale experience:
A restaurant located on one of the streets in the center of Bra; as soon as you arrive, you’ll walk into a beautiful garden (where you can dine depending on the season) and then enter the main dining area. I had an experience that I highly recommend to everyone; the staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the food, needless to say, is delicious! You can enjoy many typical Piedmontese dishes and much more!
