What is "Turin, Why Not!":

Hello everyone, I'm Matteo and I recently embarked on a new project called β€œTurin, why not!”.

The main goal of this project is to create the largest possible community to promote my beautiful city, Turin!

I want to share with all of you the passion and beauty of everything that surrounds us, and for those of you who do not live in Turin (both Italians and foreigners), to convince you to come visit! How? It's simple. By navigating through the pages of this website, you will find all the necessary information to organize your stay in the Savoy capital, book a tour at any museum, and especially get useful tips on where to eat based on the area you are in! But that’s not all; "Turin, Why Not!" will not stop at Turin alone; it aims to cover every inch of the region it belongs to, Piedmont!

In short, this is my dream, my project, and only with your support can it become a reality! So please spread the word, follow me, and share the posts on Instagram (turin_why_not), Facebook (Turin Why Not) and Tik Tok (turin.why.not) !

I believe that the most important thing in a conversation is to know who you are talking with and what experience he has, in order to be sure that you can trust the information received.

Let me introduce myself, i am Matteo and this is "Turin why not!"

I was born in Turin in 1998; my entire family, for generations, has been living in Piedmont, and specifically in Turin. 

I attended a scientific high school and studied Management Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin.

You might be wondering what's interesting about my studies...; paradoxically, my studies in engineering provided the inspiration for me to embark on this new profession. University introduced me to many people, both Italian and non-Italian, with different cultures, and made me appreciate how wonderful it is to share with those who were not born in your city what it has to offer!

In short, that period made me realize how much I enjoyed show the beauties of my city to those who had never seen it before.

In addition to studying and working, I'm a sports enthusiast. Throughout my life, I've engaged in various activities and volleyball being the one closest to my heart. Thanks to it, I've had the opportunity to visit many different cities in Piedmont, and through this, I began to fall in love with the beautiful landscapes that the region has to offer!

I also love this sport because i've been lucky to meet wonderful people, who've not only made me love it but also appreciate the sportmanship that has evolved around it.


So, thanks to living here and participating in sports that allowed me to visit places not exclusively touristy, I consider myself capable of providing you with useful and reliable information. I've also been lucky to travel extensively; so I know, as a tourist, what are the most important things you need for a perfect trip!



How I get started...


My "adventure" in the world of websites started off a bit bumpy.

Initially, I thought I could build a site on my own, but soon realized that I lacked the practical skills to manage everything and was just wasting time.  A dear friend named "Andrew" (the owner of a wonderful site called "Italy Mamma Mia!"), whom I thank greatly for supporting me in some crucial moments of this project, introduced me to "Solo Build It!".

SBI is a very reputable company that allowed me to take training courses on how to create a website from scratch, analyzing every single detail. They are very professional, and it's thanks to them that I'm here today, sharing my dream with you, hoping it can become my full-fledged profession!


Turin why not!... a big family!!


I am very happy to have embarked this project, and I thank each one of you for your support, which I hope you can continue to provide! It's truly important for me to be able to assist you and offer advice that can enhance your experience. "Turin why not!" aims to be a great family, so without you, it wouldn't have a reason to exist!
