Vespa Italian symbol MAUTO; eight decades after its original patent was filed, the iconic Vespa is celebrated at Turin’s MAUTO (National Automobile Museum) in a major exhibition dedicated to a global Italian legend. Running from June 11 to August 30, 2026, “Vespa. Icona Italiana” traces the incredible evolution of the famous Piaggio scooter from post-war personal transport to an international symbol of style, cinema, and pop culture. Curated by Roberto Donati and Rino Drogo from the extensive archive of collector Marco Fumagalli, the display showcases 14 historic models—including the famous Vespa 125 featured in Roman Holiday— alongside vintage advertisements, movie posters, memorabilia, and artworks by Mimmo Rotella. It is a captivating visual journey celebrating freedom, innovation, and Italian design history.
