The Sirio lake is located near Ivrea, at the foot of the Serra Morenica, in a landscape of great natural value. It is a glacial lake formed during the last Ice Age within the Ivrea morainic amphitheatre, making it one of the deepest and most fascinating lakes in the area.

Over time, the lake has become an important reference point for local life and tourism, thanks to its easy accessibility and available facilities. Unlike more secluded lakes, Lago Sirio offers a balance between nature and visitor-friendly services.
