A peaceful lake in the heart of Canavese

The Alice lake is located in the area of Alice Superiore, surrounded by the rolling hills of Canavese. It is a small glacial lake, formed during the last Ice Age within the Ivrea morainic amphitheatre. Its secluded setting makes it one of the most charming and less crowded lakes in the region.
Over time, the lake has remained closely connected to the surrounding landscape, characterized by small villages and rural scenery. Unlike larger and more touristy lakes, Lago di Alice offers a more intimate and authentic atmosphere.
Today, it is appreciated for its simplicity and natural beauty. The calm waters, surrounding vegetation and peaceful environment make it an ideal destination for relaxation and quiet exploration.
