The main lake between Canavese and Biella
The Viverone lake is one of the main lakes in Piedmont and a key destination in the Canavese area. 🚗 How to get there from Turin
From central Turin, Lago di Viverone can be reached in about 50 minutes by car. Take the A5 Turin-Aosta motorway to Albiano d’Ivrea, then continue toward Viverone. (see the road)

The lake is set within a hilly landscape characterized by vineyards, woods and small villages. It is part of the Ivrea morainic amphitheatre and represents one of the most diverse and accessible natural areas in Canavese.
