Restaurant and Pizzeria from 1984!

Lampara is a Mediterranean and Pizzeria restaurant located a few meters from the central Porta Nuova train station.
The name Lampara comes from the old lanterns once used by fishermen to navigate the sea at night and attract fish. These very fishermen would supply the morning fish markets, selling their fresh catch to restaurants. This restaurant was born in honor of those fishermen, offering a Mediterranean cuisine alongside a pizza menu to appeal to a wider range of guests.
Opening hours:
Monday to Friday 10.30 – 14.30 and 18.00 – 00.00, Saturday and Sunday 17.30 – 00.00

“In this restaurant, which I found really charming inside, I had the chance to try their Mediterranean cuisine. I started with the tuna tartare with burrata as an appetizer (the combination of tuna and burrata is truly delicious!) and continued with a swordfish steak served with artichokes and Taggiasca olives.
I was very pleased, both with the quality of the food (the fish was super fresh and delicate) and with the kindness of the staff.
A place I wholeheartedly recommend! 😊”
