Just imagine, Turin was the first Italian city to promote a public collection of modern art, a collection that was inaugurated way back in 1863!

Today, the GAM – Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art houses around 45,000 works, including paintings, sculptures, installations, photographs, and an important archive of films and documentaries.

Special exhibition! (From October 16, 2024, to March 9, 2025)

With the arrival of 2025, we enter a year dedicated to Impressionism; an art form that has shaped global tastes for decades!

Here at GAM in Turin, the works of Berthe Morisot, the only woman among the founders of this movement, are on display. This is an event not to be missed!

Personal Experience:

The facility is always up to date; recently renovated, the museum offers a variety of exhibitions that can captivate every type of visitor! Personally, I highly appreciate this attraction, both for its interior, as it consistently showcases fascinating and high-quality artworks, and for its exterior, as it is located in a very central and convenient area!

In addition to being a museum full of culture and charm, it is also located in one of the most upscale areas of the city. We are in the Crocetta district, one of the most renowned in the city.

It’s a neighborhood that is very close to the city center yet more immersed in greenery! If you want to stay near the city center but a bit more detached, this is the perfect place for you.

Below, I’ve listed a few spots that might be just what you're looking for!😊
