The Automobile Museum of Turin is one of the most visited monuments in the city, along with the Mole Antonelliana, the Egyptian Museum, the Royal Museums, Palazzo Madama, and the GAM.
For car enthusiasts and others alike, I believe the Automobile Museum of Turin is a must-see!
You'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the history of the world's most famous mode of transportation, discover all the early prototypes, and analyze step by step the evolution up to the present day.
Personally, I think it's a very exciting experience!
The Automobile Museum of Turin is a journey through time. Inaugurated in the 1960s, it is one of the oldest automobile museums in the world. With over 160 models on display, it offers a comprehensive overview starting from the first steam vehicles to modern racing cars. Here you can see the legendary Fiat 500, a symbol of the Italian economic boom, and the luxurious American Cadillacs that evoke the era of glamour.
A highlight of the museum is the section dedicated to speed, where you will find the iconic Formula 1 cars of Ferrari. This space, which we Italians call "the temple of speed," is a celebration of Italian engineering and passion for motors.
Not only is the history of the cars fascinating, but the building itself is an architectural masterpiece located on Corso UnitΓ d'Italia, easily accessible from any point in the city.
So, whether you are a motorsport enthusiast or simply curious, the Automobile Museum is an experience you cannot miss during your visit to Turin.
